The World Health Organization has urged countries vying for vaccine supplies to think about the situation in less developed nations.
The body's emergency expert Mike Ryan says wealthy nations are fighting over the cake when poor regions do not have access to the crumbs.
It follows the European Union's move to impose export controls of COVID-19 vaccines following a dispute with the Anglo-Swedish firm AstraZeneca over supplies.
