Not all of the crowds have been out to wish the king well.
Hundreds of pro-republic demonstrators protested in London against the existence of the monarchy.
Police say they made 52 arrests during the coronation, a move heavily denounced by rights groups.
Other demonstrations against the monarchy were also held in Glasgow, Scotland, and Cardiff in Wales.
