18 million Sudanese are facing acute food shortages.
Many of them have been forced from their homes after 12 months of fighting as the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary battle to overthrow Sudan’s government.
The continuing conflict is hitting farmers who are struggling to harvest their crops and put food on the table.
