President Joe Biden has announced that the US will be sending 31 Abram tanks to Ukraine.
Speaking at the White House, he said, “I’m announcing that the United States will be sending 31 Abram tanks to Ukraine the equivalent of one Ukrainian battalion.
Secretary Austin has recommended this step because it all enhance Ukraine’s capacity to defend his territory to achieve strategic objectives.”
Biden also said Washington was giving Ukraine the necessary parts and equipment, and will be providing Ukrainian personnel with training.
