US President Joe Biden has been highlighting his administration's efforts to lower healthcare costs. Biden's Inflation Reduction Act placed a $2,000 cap on Medicare prescription drugs. It also attempts to crack down on what it calls falsely claimed patents to try and increase competition and lower healthcare costs.
