Funerals are being held for some of those killed during this week's violence in Baghdad.
The demonstrations started on Monday when influential Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr announced he was leaving politics and closing his political offices.
Demonstrations ended on Tuesday when the populist leader ordered his supporters to leave the Green Zone and refrain from violence.
Clashes between protesters and authorities left 30 people dead and hundreds wounded.
