Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been arrested and detained in a Moscow prison for 30 days.
Navalny was flying home from Berlin for the first time since he was poisoned last August.
Germany, the UK and the US have all demanded his immediate release and some countries are calling for new sanctions.
Russia’s foreign minister says Navalny’s detention is legal but Navalny has called the charges politically motivated.

Al Jazeera’s Charlie Angela reports.
