In one of the biggest one-day charity fundraising events in the world, 40,000 people are running the 42.2km route of the London Marathon on Sunday.
Last year's event was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. And this year, the marathon was moved from spring to autumn.
Al Jazeera’s Rory Challands reports from London on how the charity sector has weathered this storm.
